Reviews rate the visit. They do not rate the surgery.
A doctor gets five stars for a short wait and a kind manner. The reviews rarely say if the knee works a year later.

CMS and state health departments publish the reports. Each number links to its report and states its measure and period.
A doctor can have three kinds of public record. A directory listing shows specialty and current offices. Procedure experience shows how many Medicare patients had a procedure with that doctor. Volume is not a result. A reviewed outcome is a published result for one measure, period and patient group. Many doctors have only a directory listing. See coverage by evidence level
You can search procedures across specialties, including joint replacement, cataract surgery and heart surgery. You can also search by doctor or specialty. Published outcomes exist for some procedures and some doctors only.
OpenHealth checks for new public reports every night. The coverage page lists each source and its release date. See coverage and freshness
Use the corrections form to name the doctor, the field and the public source that shows the right value. OpenHealth does not change an official result based on a report alone. Report a data problem
